Manage CPQ accounts
Perform the following actions to manage your CPQ accounts: share an account, remove an account, viewing account reports, and refreshing accounts to clear cache.
To share an account:
From the
page, use the filter field to locate the account to be shared in the list.For the account to be shared, click the share icon.
Result: The Share account with dialog box displays.
From the Share account with; dialog box, select user or user group from the drop-down list.
Select the name of the user/user group.
Click
.Result: The account is shared with the designated user or user group. The user(s) receives a standard notification from the platform as well as an email notification that the account has been shared.
Prerequisite: Before you can remove an account, you must first delete any deals that are tied to the account.
To remove an account:
Select
from the navigation sidebar, and locate the account you want to delete.Click the remove account icon.
If the account has existing deals, the message ”Accounts cannot be removed with existing deals" displays.
If no deals are currently linked to the account, the message “Are you sure you want to remove <account name> account?” displays.
Click
to remove the account.
From the
page, you can view reports that show all relevant information that is tied to your accounts.Click
.
The Reports page displays a list of your accounts along with the following information:
Column header | Description |

Originator | The name of the account originator |
Account | The name of the account. |
Deal | The name assigned to the deal. |
Quote Name | The name assigned to the quote for this deal. |
Quote Creation Data | The date the quote was created. |
Quote Age | The number of days that the quote is outstanding. |
Quote Expiration Data | The date the named quote is set to expire. |
Favorited Locations | The number of locations in the deal that have been selected as Favorites. |
Quote Workflow Status | The status of the current CPQ workflow for the quote. |
Total MRC | Where applicable, lists the total Monthly Recurring Cost (MRC) that is tied to the quote. |
Total NRC | Where applicable, lists the total Non Recurring Cost (NRC) that is tied to the quote. |
Network Intelligence data is generated during quote creation and is available for export while stored in cache. If at a later time, records are deleted from cache, some data fields may appear empty. If this is the case, the export will show as “Cache not found” error. Network Intelligence updates cannot be completed when cache is empty.
To clear cache and regenerate Network Intelligence:

.Result: The progress bar for that deal reloads.
