Managing deals

Once a deal is created and associated with an account, you can perform any of these additional functions within a deal:

Each of these functions is described in the sections that follow.

Using the Manage Columns function, you can limit the columns in the grid view to only those fields that are of interest to you.

  1. Select Quoting > Accounts from the navigation sidebar.

  2. Locate an account, and click the Open Deals icon.

  3. Select a deal.

  4. Click Manage Columns.

    Result: The Manage Columns dialog box displays.

  5. Select/deselect the columns to be viewed in the Deals grid.

  6. Click Apply Changes.

From within the Deals grid, you can change the Default Rule Chain as needed. Changes to the Default Rule Chain will not change the results from quotes that have previously been created under the edited deal. New quotes created under the deal will be based on the Rule Chain associated at the time of quote creation.

  1. Select Quoting > Accounts from the navigation sidebar.

  2. Locate an account, and click the Open Deals icon.

  3. Select a deal.

  4. Select the checkbox next to an address or addresses.

  5. Click the ... menu icon that appears in the top right of the page.

  6. Click Copy All to New Deal.

    Result: A popup dialog displays where you can select an existing deal to copy the addresses to or create a new deal.

  7. Do one of the following:

    • To select an existing deal, click the down arrow to the right of the Select the Deal field. From the list provided, select the deal that you want to add the selected locations to and click Save. The selected locations are added to the named Deal.

    • To create a new deal, click the Create New Deal field and type the name that you want to use as an identifier for this deal and click Save. The newly created deal is saved the account.

  8. Click the Open Deals icon to view the saved list of deals for that account. If you have multiple deals for this account, your newly added deal displays at the top of the list.

  1. Select Quoting > Accounts from the navigation sidebar.

  2. Locate an account, and click the Open Deals icon.

  3. Select a deal.

  4. Do one of the following:

    Export Selected Network Intelligence

    1. Click the checkbox to the left of the locations to export.

    2. Click the ... menu.

    3. Click Export Selected Network Intelligence.

    Export All Network Intelligence

    1. Click the ... menu.

    2. Click Export All Network Intelligence.

    Result: The information is downloaded as a CSV file.

  1. Select Quoting > Accounts from the navigation sidebar.

  2. Locate an account, and click the Open Deals icon.

  3. Select a deal.

  4. Do one of the following:

    Remove selected addresses

    1. Select the checkbox next to an address or addresses.

    2. Click the ... menu icon that appears in the top right of the page.

    3. Click Remove Selected From Deal.

    Remove all addresses

    1. Click the ... menu icon that appears in the top right of the page.

    2. Click Remove All From Deal.

  5. Click Delete to remove the locations or click Cancel to return to the previous screen without deleting locations. When you click delete, the deal remains but the addresses are deleted from the deal.

  1. Select Quoting > Accounts from the navigation sidebar.

  2. Locate an account, and click the Open Deals icon.

  3. Click the remove deal icon.

    Result: A confirmation dialog box displays.

  4. Click Delete to remove deal or click Cancel to exit without deleting the deal from the account.
